Information
'Chuckles' is registered with OFSTED to provide breakfast and after-school care for 36 children. Within the recommended guidelines, Chuckles will operate the minimum ratio of 1 adult per 8 children.
Parents must complete a current registration form before their children attend and must inform staff immediately of any changes to these details. Priority places will be given to regular bookings.
Chuckles is open to all children regardless of their circumstances or individual requirements. Children and staff are expected to treat each other with courtesy and respect at all times. Positive behaviour will be actively encouraged; unacceptable behaviour will be discouraged and discussed with parents. Any child who repeatedly abuses the rights of staff or other children may be temporarily or permanently excluded.
Children will only be handed to the adults named on the registration form and must be collected by 6:00/6.15 pm or a surcharge will be implemented. Any change to this arrangement must be communicated to the club supervisor by telephone, prior to the child's collection.
Parents/carers should inform staff as soon as possible if a child will be absent from the after school club.
Personal belongings should be clearly labelled and valuables left at home. Lost items should be reported to staff at the earliest opportunity.
